Dharma Rain News
The concrete foundations got poured for both duplexes Wednesday and Thursday this week. We are still working underneath the two houses, framing and removing old wood and insulation. Tai’an is shown underneath the house while a contractor levels concrete. Will was one of many who sorted and loaded wood.
By August we expect that both buildings will be set down on their foundations. Until then we are working underneath and doing exploratory demolition inside the houses.
Wednesday Work Parties
We have work parties most Wednesdays from 9am to 3:30pm, and there is plenty of work for people to do, inside and outside, light and heavy. Come for as much or little of the time as you wish. We have tools and gloves, but if you have your own, feel free to bring them. If you are around at 12:30pm, we feed you lunch. For much of the summer, we are adding Thursday and Friday for anyone who can come out the volunteer. Come join the fun! (Note that the week of camp [July 9-15] we will not have work parties.)
