Rohatsu commemorates the Buddha’s enlightenment, traditionally on December 8th. This is our longest and most intense retreat of the year, and is the culmination of our year of training. Six full days of lots of stillness, silence, moving in harmony, and clarifying our dharma eye through sanzen, talks and reflection is a potent mix. Even so, it’s a very supportive environment, so is a great time both to stretch your practice to new depth, and to reap the fruit of all the mindfulness and meditation you may have done recently. Please consider coming for the whole thing, or for a part.
For financial assistance, see the scholarship application and contact the shuso. For other questions or concerns about your attendance, please speak with Kakumyo or the shuso [shuso at dharma-rain.org].
See the 2017 schedule.
Pre-registration is required by November 29.
