Rohatsu Sesshin
Rohatsu commemorates the Buddha’s enlightenment, traditionally December 8th.
This is our longest and most intense retreat of the year, and is the culmination of a year of training. Six full days of stillness, silence, moving in harmony, clarifying our dharma eye through sanzen, talks and reflection is a potent mix. It’s a supportive environment, which makes it a great time both to stretch your practice to new depth, and to reap the fruit of all the mindfulness and meditation you have done this year. Please consider coming for the whole sesshin, or at least a substantial part. Overnight accommodations are available.
Early morning and evening in-person drop-ins open. Early morning also available by Zoom. See the schedule.
Financial Assistance
For financial assistance, see the scholarship application and contact the shuso. For any other questions or concerns about your attendance, please email the shuso or Dharma Rain.
