Bodhisattva’s Embracing Dharmas Open Class

It’s been said from the beginning that helpful conduct is the whole Dharma. Bukkai will be starting the New Year leading a Wednesday evening study and conversation based on “The Bodhisattva’s Four Embracing Dharmas,” sometimes called “hidden methods.” The short list is one of the main sets of practices recommended by the Buddha in the scriptures for guiding others and being in harmony with people and society and also for attracting others to the Dharma. Lectures will range from Dogen to Katagiri and Alan Senauke. The classes on the four Wednesday evenings in January are open to all and require no preparation, only the willingness to listen and speak from a thoughtful concern for our world and the many beings living here.
