In this series of six classes (the first one planned was cancelled due to weather) we will discuss the history of vow practice in Buddhism, ways of working with vow, and go into depth with exploring our personal relation to the four Bodhisattva Vows. The classes will be highly participatory and will emphasize personal experience with the content more than information about it. The classes are led by three of our lay teachers: Gyoshi, Kengan, and Sosetsu.
All Wednesday night classes are open to the public. There is no charge, though donations are gratefully accepted. See the Syllabus.
This class is in-person only, no Zoom option, though it is recorded. Audio files can be found here.
We meet on this schedule:
7-7:10pm Evening Service
7:40-7:50 Tea, Announcements
