Rohatsu Sesshin
Rohatsu commemorates the Buddha’s enlightenment, traditionally December 8th.
This is our longest and most intense retreat of the year, and is the culmination of a year of training. Six full days of stillness, silence, moving in harmony, clarifying our dharma eye through sanzen, talks and reflection is a potent mix. It’s a supportive environment, which makes it a great time both to stretch your practice to new depth, and to reap the fruit of all the mindfulness and meditation you have done this year. Please consider coming for the whole thing, or at least a substantial part.
Limited overnight accommodations are available. Proof of current Covid vaccinations and a recent (within 72 hours) negative Covid test are required for all those registered.
Drop-in participation (non-registered, no test required) for early morning or evening is open; however, drop-ins need to leave before morning service or after the dharma talk because we will be chanting indoors.
The early morning program (zazen and service from 5-7:50am) is publicly available on Zoom.
