New Year’s Eve
6401 NE 10th Ave
Portland, OR 97211

It is a longstanding tradition in our Sanghas to come together in fellowship and practice, as the world turns another year. Join us for an evening of intention, awareness and presence.
The evening begins festively with a vegetarian potluck and sacred circle dancing led by Chozen Roshi. We then transition into a ceremony of Letting go and Renewal, where we release our unskillful actions of body, speech and mind in a Fire Ceremony – and then renew our vows to live a compassionate life. The evening ends with Zazen and a New Year’s Ceremony.
You are welcome to come to all or part of the evening. If you come for dinner please consider bringing a vegetarian dish to share!
