Dharma School – Classes run September through May on alternating Sundays.

Dharma Camp – Mandala on the Mountain, also known as Dharma Camp, is a week-long, overnight summer camp for kids aged nine through eighteen who are interested in Buddhism. The camp experience combines traditional camp activities, such as swimming, crafts, sports, and a campfire, with Buddhist practices like meditation, a chanted morning service, silent breakfast, and mindful work practice

Parents Retreat – To meet our children with wisdom and compassion, it’s important that we take the time to care for ourselves. We will come together for zazen, walking meditation, chanting, and the ancient Buddhist practice of metta, or loving-kindness meditation. There will be instruction in meditation and Dharma Rain forms for those who would like it, and also time to share our experiences.

Family Gathering -This is an overnight camping trip for the whole family. We’ll enjoy games, crafts, meals together, as well as unstructured playtime, zazen, ceremony and mindfulness walks. Participants are encouraged to share stories of their families, poems, and songs at our evening campfire.

Dharma School Family Potluck – This evening will feature a potluck dinner and an opportunity for parents, children and teachers to play games, relax and get to know each other. Please bring a vegetarian dish to share.

Community Lunch – Dharma Rain offers lunch to the Sangha once a month on a Dharma School Sunday right after morning program. All are invited to partake of a delicious vegetarian feast and connect with Sangha.

Parent’s Group – Parents’ Group offers an opportunity to explore parenting as a Zen Buddhist practice, and the possibilities of home practice. This is a time to share our experiences and to sit together. Acknowledging the validity of the spiritual path that parents are on is an important part of supporting our children. This group meets on Dharma School Sundays, and is drop-in; there’s no need to register separately for it. Contact for more information.
