This workshop is for cultivating a practice to restore harmony when difficulties arise, as they always do! Beginning Anew is based on the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh and the restoration process developed by the community at Plum Village.
Beginning anew is an opportunity to heal the hurt we so often feel by our most intimate relationships. It’s roots are deep in Buddha’s teachings on deep listening and speaking. It teaches us to look honestly at ourselves, our past actions, speech and thoughts and create a fresh beginning for us and our relationships.
When difficulty arises we often get it wrong, lashing out, trying to fix behaviors instead of understand them, going to our corners leaving things unsaid. In this workshop we will give practical instructions on how to build a safe container to rebuild our most precious relationships through connection and compassion.
This workshop is open to adults as well as children 14 years and up. We encourage both parents to come, if possible. If finding childcare is a barrier, please contact us at and we will look into providing childcare during the workshop.
