One way to understand Zen is to think of it as a clarification of our own dream of this life. One of the most powerful ways to engage this is by studying our own particular nighttime dreams as part of practice. The montage of images and bizarre encounters that defy space and time not only point to the ephemeral but to dharma gates offered us as we study are karmic conditioning. Drawing upon several years of leading workshops on this subject, Seido will share some examples and offer possibilities of how we can include our dreamlife as yet another aspect of the self to be studied and released.
