P0330-steps3-600Ikuo and Sherman worked on the steps at the east end of the Sodo, providing egress directly from the zendo. Fujaku continues to work on trim inside the Sodo, as well as other things. The mop sink got hooked up on Wednesday. We now have rods indoors for hanging up coats, robes, etc. Lots of small, and not-so-small finish work is happening. And of course, work continues on getting the workshop ready for tomorrow’s barnraising.

In addition to regular Wednesday work parties (~9:30am-4pm), we can use help from all volunteers anytime that we’re on schedule and not on retreat. We have several wonderful volunteers who come regularly on Wednesdays and other times. Just let Ikuo [ikuohull at gmail.com] know beforehand so we can count you in for lunch. Zazen is in the Sodo from 11:30am to 12:25pm, with lunch served at the Sodo at 12:30.
