News at Dharma Rain

Once again, we have glazed sidewalks and cold weather. Still, we have had some movement toward getting the duplexes (residents housing) ready to move on to the property. More ground preparation has happened this week, for example.

Metro [facebook link] recently published a Regional Snapshot content package on their brownfield page, and included their profile of Dharma Rain. You can see it here. @OregonMetro, #ItsOurNature.

As always, we continue to be open for activities – seven people showed up last night for an introductory workshop in spite of less-than-ideal weather. The Beginners Retreat will go on as scheduled tomorrow, and we understand the weather should be okay for that.

We continue to work on finishing details inside and outside the Sodo, as well as on landscaping. Regular Wednesday work parties are a great way to spend time with sangha doing useful things on the property. There are plenty of tasks for everyone who shows up between 9:30am-3pm. If you are around for lunch time (12:30pm), you get lunch for free.
