Dharma School is booting back up for Spring – March 28-May 2, Sundays 10:30-11:30am.
The theme for this year is Kanzeon Who Hears the Cries of the World. This theme is relevant now, as we live through the suffering caused by the pandemic, and address racial and social injustice, systemic discrimination and violence. As the Boddhisatva of compassion, Kanzeon meets our distress with compassionate wisdom. We can turn to her for support and guidance and we can strive to embody the compassion that she brings to the world. (We also note that Kanzeon is our original transgender Boddhisatva!) So our classes this year address the world we live in right now, with compassion and courage.
Because of COVID-19, the format for Dharma School looks different. Our hope is that, in scheduling like this, we create cohesion and continuity as well as a sense of community as much as possible.
Registration is open HERE. You will need to register for Dharma School to receive a zoom link but the fee this year is donation based.
