Awakening Sounds – Linguistic and Textual Heritage in Zen Buddhism
Join us for an all-day, interactive calligraphy and sutra study workshop led by Zen Master Nie.
Rebecca Nie is a Chinese American Zen master of the Korean Jogye Order, scholar, and award-winning artist. Her co-translated collection of 8th and 9th Century Chinese spiritual poetry has just been published by Shambhala and is available now. As the founding abbot of Mahavajra Seon Sanctuary, Z.M. Nie engages in creative expressions and offers systematic training in Eastern wisdom-spiritual traditions.

Participants are encouraged to wear dark tops since calligraphy ink can stain fabrics.
