A special thank you in three directions. First, we received a very generous, $250,000 gift from an anonymous donor, paying out over 10 years. This gift helps reduce our debt over time. Secondly, Nancy Kodo Conover and David Ellston forgave their $45,000 portion of the Semble loan. Dharma Rain took out this loan from friends… Read more »

This last Saturday, April 2, something like 100 people showed up for a good old-fashioned barnraising, as we worked on the new workshop. The weather was perfect, and though we had more trouble than anticipated getting up the first arch and keeping it up, we recovered on the second by getting a scissorlift to provide… Read more »

Even better, we did so faster than planned: Lotus Blooming was… Read more »

We did it! Because of the generosity of our Sangha and friends, we exceeded our $500,000 Matching Gift Challenge by raising $389,530. In August, our fundraising campaign for Planting Zen in Siskiyou Square – Lotus Blooming – received a major boost. An anonymous donor gave us a $200,000 matching gift to help us wrap-up fundraising by December 31, 2015. If we raised $200,000, we would receive all of the $200,000 matching gift. Our donor agreed to match… Read more »
