Still Point is published six times a year by Dharma Rain Zen Center, a Soto Zen temple for lay practice under the direction of Kyogen and Gyokuko Carlson. The Carlsons, who are a married couple, are Zen priests trained in the Soto tradition.
Soto Zen is a Buddhist tradition that emphasizes finding the deep significance right in front of us in everyday life. DRZC is a growing community of people from very diverse backgrounds coming together to share the practice of Soto Zen. For more information about DRZC (maps and directions, photos, a short history, etc.) go to our home page at http://www.Dharma-Rain.org
Still Point, which appears only in electronic format, contains articles on the practice of the Dharma, written by our teachers, sangha members and guest writers. There is also information about upcoming events, latest news, calendars, and information about groups in other cities that are affiliated with Dharma Rain Zen Center.

Introductory Zen Meditation Workshops are offered several times each month at no charge. One-day sittings and longer "sesshins" are held during the year. See our events page for specific dates and more information.
